Sarah Evans-Toyne, Account Director

Sarah joined Broadgate to work on business development and new services, including digital PR. Sarah combines her love of anthropology with pioneering web communications experience.

Sarah leads the development of the agency's expertise in digital services, advising clients on new media strategy and online communication techniques across B2C and B2B sectors.She also heads up our work with public sector and policy-focused organisations in professional development, education and enterprise.

Sarah has worked at the forefront of internet communications for more than a decade, writing on the dot.com boom for The Sunday Times' Money section and then joining the BBC News website as launch journalist and editor for personal finance and consumer affairs. While at the BBC she was named Work Foundation Online journalist of the year and won a host of industry awards for the websites she developed.

Sarah was also a press manager and government speechwriter in Australia, where she worked for a range of Government Ministers and officials, in the area of Aboriginal Affairs and education.

Sarah was appointed Vice-Chairman of the Public Relations Consultants Association's Digital Group in 2008 and was promoted to Chairman in December 2009. She plays an active role in the future of Digital PR services across the industry and appears as a commentator in the media.
