Michael Walker

Michael Walker, Chairman

In addition to his role as non-executive chairman of Broadgate Mainland, Michael is also chairman of Walkers Shortbread Limited, the family-owned shortbread company based in Scotland, and chairman of Scottish Friendly Assurance Society Limited, the mutual life office and financial services group. 

Michael is a Director of Cornelian Asset Managers Limited, the Edinburgh-based asset manager, and is a Non-Executive Member of the Scottish Amicable Board as established by The Prudential Assurance Company Limited. He is also a member of the Scottish Enterprise Investment Advisory Group.

Michael was formerly chairman of Maclay Murray & Spens, the commercial law firm.
