Neil Mainland

04 June 2010

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Neil Mainland yesterday evening, Thursday 3rd June 2010, following a long battle against cancer.

Neil, 54 years old, was a highly respected PR man and former journalist who will be sadly missed by his family, many friends, colleagues and clients. Our thoughts are very much with his family at this time.

Neil spent over 22 years in financial services PR and was a director at Valin Pollen in the 1980s, before running his own agency for 10 years prior to selling the business to Financial Dynamics, where he worked as a partner until April 2002. He restarted his own agency in 2002 which merged with Broadgate Mainland in 2009.

Prior to entering the PR industry, Neil was an industrial journalist, latterly for the Daily Telegraph where he worked for a number of years.

Thank you to everyone for their kind condolences and tributes to Neil. These have been passed on to his family and colleagues.

Please feel free to get in touch with either Roland Cross or Mark Knight on 020 7726 6111.
