The IMS Group (‘IMS’), a market leading provider of global regulatory compliance consulting and integrated business support to the asset management and securities industry, has been voted as the “Best North American Regulatory Advisory Firm” and “Best European Regulatory Advisory Firm,” at the second annual Hedge Week awards.
The awards, which are decided solely by the number of votes from Hedge Week subscribers, were presented at Sketch, in the heart of Mayfair, on 3 March 2011.
IMS stood out for high quality services and its ability to innovate and evolve, having developed six core business offerings that include: regulation and compliance, accounting and tax, portfolio risk management, hosted regulatory permissions, education and training, and recruitment.
In particular, IMS’ knowledge of the combined UK and US regulatory landscapes helped it secure the awards. IMS has a dedicated Financial Services Authority Regulatory Transactions Team – the only dedicated FSA application team of its kind. In the US, the Group’s regulatory services are manifold. Full support is provided for initial FINRA and Securities and Exchange Commission membership and support, among many other services.
