Pergo enters vinyl flooring market
Pergo, the leading manufacturer of laminate flooring, is launching its first line of durable vinyl flooring, marking its evolution from a laminate company into a flooring company.
Pergo vinyl planks and tiles come in 26 designs that range between wood, stone and leather, in plank and tile formats. The easy to install, click board format of Pergo vinyl floors feature many of the already recognised features of Pergo laminates with the added benefit that the floor is warm, quiet and comfortable to walk on.
According to Pergo’s CEO, Ralf Eisermann, the move marks the creation of a whole new product category and a significant step for those who prefer vinyl flooring: “Now architects and consumers can choose vinyl flooring that reflects the same dedication to design that we have long offered buyers of laminate,” says Eisermann. “We have taken all our expertise, including our latest Fold Down technology, and created beautiful vinyl floors that are just as easy to install as our well-known laminate,” said Eisermann.
As with their laminate portfolio, Pergo’s new vinyl flooring is available in a choice of styles, formats and quality levels to suit applications ranging from home use to demanding public environments.
Prices start from £39.99 per m² (SSP). The Premium product comes with a 10 year guarantee and the Optimum product comes with a 15 year guarantee, this guarantee covers the product against wear, stains and fading.
